  This church had a public event with food that we attended. As we entered, a greeter answered a couple of questions and pointed out the different elements of the event. We saw that people were talking and having a good time, but no one approached us or tried to connect with us. My wife, son, and I sat by ourselves, ate our food, and then got up to leave. As we walked out, the greeter showed interest and we are grateful for her kindness shown, but she was the only one.
